V. Sattui Winery
Description:
V. Sattui Winery, located in the heart of the Napa Valley, is a small family winery founded in 1885. It occupies a beautiful stone building in the classic manner of California's early wineries, and is surrounded by manicured gardens, lawns, giant oak trees, two-acres of tree-shaded picnic grounds and 35 acres of vineyards. The setting is lovely and inviting with vistas of the Napa Valley vineyards and hills beyond. The setting is lovely and inviting with vistas of the Napa Valley vineyards and hills beyond. Wedding guests can dine in a castle-like cellar lined with oak barrels and filled with the aromas of aging wines. Through stone archways are four caves where bottled wines are aged behind heavy wrought iron gates. Hand-hewn stone walls, heavy ceiling timbers and wine barrels create an old world atmosphere suitable for either elaborate formal dinners or casual buffets.

In front of the winery there is a stone patio with a beautiful stone fountain and steps leading down to a private courtyard suitable for ceremonies or receptions. Services can also be performed under the tower overlooking a lush lawn bordered by luscious flowerbeds. There are many picturesque areas capture precious moments that will last a lifetime.
